Job DetailsWe are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of SALT Tax Supervisor within our team.
The successful candidate will possess the following
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
CPA eligible or possess a JD with a successful passage of the bar exam.
5 to 10 years of progressive experience in direct tax, with a specific focus on state franchise and income tax.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the comprehensive review of state income and franchise tax returns.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of state tax laws and a proven track record in conducting and overseeing nexus studies.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
Conduct tax research and excel in preparing well-articulated memorandums.
Additional Leadership Opportunities:
Drive and contribute to consulting initiatives, while maintaining a primary focus on compliance activities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have daily access to a vehicle.
Willingness to lead and actively participate in commuting to client locations and all three of our offices.
