Summary:
Under general supervision, develops Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS) programs, reviews facilities for EHS compliance with CF policy and governmental regulations as well as assists Distribution Facilities (DF) personnel with all aspects of EHS.
Advises management on practical and necessary steps to ensure all DF locations comply with all federal, state or provincial and local regulations concerning environmental, health and safety matters and Company best practices.
Job Description:
Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts annual EHS training for assigned facility personnel.
Assures site compliance in EHS issues including conducting complete walk-around inspections at assigned facilities as well as reviewing EHS records for accuracy and compliance.
Conducts performance-based evaluations, aids in community interface operations and assists site management in completing EHS required functions.
Coordinates and/or conducts EHS audits in compliance with requirements, including:
HAZWOPER; Confined Space Rescue Training; Emergency Response Drills; EHS issues during tank outages, bullet outages and tank re-insulations; and noise surveysCreates, documents and/or modifies EHS-related programs.
Conducts investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses for root cause and corrective actionDevelops protocol for annual EHS visits.
Represents the EHS Team during EHS Audits.
Conducts quantitative respirator fit testingParticipates in annual review of EHS and PSM Programs and modifies programs as necessaryEnsures that all DF terminals meet internal and external EHS requirements.
Increase awareness and compliance of EHS matters within DF, reducing risk to the company.
Participate in PHA's at assigned Terminals.
Provide support to VPP Terminals to maintain certification.
Participate in various EHS related groups/committees/task forces as applicable.
Key
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; with equivalent of 2 years college, Military/technical training or work experience preferred.
Minimum of five years ammonia terminal or dry product warehouse experience (with a minimum of two years NH3 experience).
Ability to travel extensively (approximately 60% of the time).
Travel to/from up to 7 terminals routinely ( 1 visit to each terminal/quarter) required.
Typical duration of trips is 1-4 day intervals.
Strong ability to understand EHS issues and communicate relevant details to others.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use EHS-related software.
Ability to learn and apply adult-focused teaching skills.
Must have initiative to act independently and exercise discretion/judgment appropriately.
Home office terminal/site location of this position is located within the geographic area of central IL or IN.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
