Contract Project Manager

Job Description LaSalle Network is currently partnered with one of the largest national wholesale distributors of a brand range of office supplies.
They are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of cyber remediation projects within the organization.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects aimed at addressing and resolving cybersecurity vulnerabilities and incidents.
Your expertise in cybersecurity, project management and communication will be critical in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements for cyber remediation initiatives Risk Assessment:
Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and prioritize cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring appropriate remediation strategies are in place Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cybersecurity teams, IT teams, executive leadership and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables Project Execution:
Lead the execution of cyber remediation projects, coordinating activities, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion Resource Management:
Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, optimizing the utilization of talent and tools to achieve project objectives Budget Control:
Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as necessary to maintain financial control and meet financial targets Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular project status updates and reports to project stakeholders, including project milestones, risks and remediation outcomes Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the effectiveness of cyber remediation efforts and compliance with industry standards and best practices Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement within the cyber remediation project management framework and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness Crisis Management:
Develop contingency plans and strategies to handle cybersecurity incidents and respond effectively to cyber threats during project execution Compliance:
Ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity regulations, industry standards and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, progress reports and post-remediation evaluations Project Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM or similar are preferred Proven experience as a Project Manager in cybersecurity or information security-related projects Familiarity with cyber remediation methodologies, incident response and vulnerability management a plus Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies and best practices Knowledge of security frameworks (e.
g.
, NIST, ISO 27001) preferred Demonstrated expertise in project management principles, methodologies and tools to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cybersecurity issues and propose effective remediation strategies Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects and priorities If you have the experience listed above, possess a great attitude and are looking for an opportunity with a stable and established employer, this is the role for you!
