Director, Technology Events, Brand, and Activation

Job SummaryWalgreens is rebuilding its Technology strategy and employee base.
In partnership with several internal teams Tech Leadership HR Communications this role will invariably be a key contributor to successfully attracting and engaging technology talent.
Together with stakeholders and collaborative partners this role will lead the definition and deployment of the Walgreens Technology brand including building and executing initiatives and tools creating and managing technology focused internal forums and external opportunities and delivering on goals that contribute to an exceptional technology brand culture and employee experience.
As an outcomes owner for Technology and in collaboration with internal and external partners this role will simultaneously serve as a force multiplier for existing initiatives and also as a thought leader in creating new strategies and processes related to the Technology brand and experience.
This role will have access to and use employee survey data and feedback analytics to assess effectiveness and evolve the Brand strategy.

Job Responsibilities Develop a technology brand strategy using effective channels and content unique to Technology that contribute to team engagement and a positive culture throughout all pillars of Technology.
Liaise with communications to ensure connectivity and consistency in the technology communications plan and across all collaborative efforts that support activation of the technology brand.
Work with the VP Strategy and Transformation and HR to lead a technology culture through data informed People programs and strategies that enable an exceptional employee experience built upon inclusion and recognition delegating to broader enterprise programs where they exist.
Ensure consistency of technology brand and implementation for events across the organization (e.
g.
Hackathons brown bags or lunch and learn forums Technology conferences etc.
) Build and manage the Engagement team composed of voluntary team members within the organization and oversee the strategy and activities which could include:
A.
Assessing and providing recommendations for tools and events to uniquely engage Technology employees of all levels and build community across teams and functions.
B.
Partner with HR to influence employee surveys action planning and strategy implementation production of events or initiatives aligned with the Technology team values and business goals and management of internal partnerships.
Partner with HR to use people centric data from the company related to the technology team to inform Engagement Team strategy and initiatives and encourage a culture of empowerment innovation belonging and satisfaction.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.

Experience in development and implementation of strategic initiatives and programs aligned to business needs.

At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and or cross functional team leadership.
Willing to travel up to at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent experience.
10-15 years of progressive communications, brand and or culture and engagement experience.
Minimum of five years leading and managing the work of a team, including leading through influence or COE model.
Recommended Skills Business Requirements Change Management Communication Data Analysis Finance Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
