Client is seeking a skilled Oracle DBA to join the team on a contract basis. This position, which is currently remote with a hybrid setup in Deerfield, IL, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to database administration tasks, particularly focusing on Oracle databases, Azure, and AWS administration.



Responsibilities:


  • Support the setup, migration, and upgrades of Data Guard.
  • Ensure optimal performance of Oracle Server database systems.
  • Implement and manage security measures for databases.
  • Apply service packs, upgrades, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to identify and resolve database-related problems.
  • Establish and maintain DB environments.
  • Provide DBA support for application deployments, releases, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Proficiency in Azure and AWS public cloud administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 12C to 19C migration.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server administration.
  • Familiarity with Linux, GIT, Ansible, AWS DMS, and Flash is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with teams and stakeholders.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
