Our client is looking for an experienced hands on IT
manager
. Must have experience in the following functional areas: Infrastructure, Support and Security. This
position
's responsibilities include personnel management, managing external vendors providing relevant products and
services
and collaborating/coordinating with client's Operating Companies.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for server, desktop, storage, network, telecom, security and monitoring hardware, software and services ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance and scalability.
Proactively applies updates/patches and manages infrastructure and desktop support issues per agreed upon standards, timelines and budgets before issues impact daily operations and productivity.
Forecasts demand for storage, computing and network capacity and takes appropriate action before capacity limits are reached.
Identify, recruit, hire and manage required personnel. Provide leadership, direction and guidance, creating and maintaining a productive work environment and ensuring staff have the appropriate skills and tools to perform their
jobs
.
Participate in the identification and selection of vendors, and manage the ongoing relationship with and performance of those vendors.
Utilizes applied technical infrastructure expertise and experience to apply best practices and leverage industry trends and emerging technologies.
Provides expert guidance and applicable technical infrastructure direction to Application Development and Integration team.
Continuously improves, documents, implements and manages standardized policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.
Provides technical and project management for all infrastructure initiatives ensuring they are successfully implemented and operationalized.
Participates in the development of and management of approved operating and capital budgets.
Ensures IT governance, audit and compliance requirements are met.
Works collaboratively with counterparts in FBHS Operating Companies to define and implement standardized solutions where applicable, leverage enterprise buying power, problem-solve and share expertise.

Qualifications:

Education:
BS in
computer
Science, Information Technology or related field preferred

Experience:
10 years IT experience across all areas of infrastructure, with three plus years of experience managing an infrastructure team.
Five plus years of expert-level infrastructure maintenance and engineering including servers, storage, networking, and security.
Five plus years of expert-level, hands-on Active Directory experience.
Five plus years of experience managing IT Security including firewalls, IPS/IDS, & anti-virus.
Five plus years of datacenter management experience in a corporate environment.
Five plus years of experience managing web infrastructure including Windows Server, IIS, WCF, and load-balancers.
Applied experience with IT governance and compliance requirements including Sarbanes Oxley.

Technical Skills:
In depth Cisco networking experience that includes deep technical and functional understanding of network security, VOIP, WAN, LAN, and internet routing and switching protocols, wireless and VPN capabilities
NetApp configuration and maintenance, sizing, monitoring
Microsoft:
o Server 2012 configuration
o AD management in a SOX environment
o System Center for:
o Proactive server and desktop monitoring
o Software inventory; asset management
o Application monitoring
VMware configuration, monitoring for an N+1 configuration
COMPETENCIES:
Develop and lead a high performance IT team and advance the maturity level of the function.
Manage high-availability IT systems requiring 24x7 support.
Prior experience managing and/or running a helpdesk
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Effective interpersonal communication, including written, verbal and listening skills.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Work effectively in team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as independently.
Onboard and/or manage third-party vendors for a significant portion of operations.
Build, deploy, and manage network and application monitoring solutions that provide clear visibility into network traffic and performance
Manage 3rd party data center infrastructure, processes, and support to enable reliable and highly available servicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
