Merchandising Systems Senior Project Manager

This is a 1 year contract with potential for extensions for a Merchandising Systems Sr. PM in the Deerfield, IL area.
Client is looking into selecting and implementing a vendor's merchandising software for their Promotions team to utilize. This Sr. PM will be heavily involved in this process.
He/she will work across upwards of 10 stakeholders, including IT, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and a multitude of others. He/she will have a sound understanding of the retail/merchandising spaces as well as how IT interacts with other parts of the business.
The primary client for this program is the promotions team so any experience interacting with Promotions groups is a bonus.
Experience required:
7 years or more of hands-one project management experience
Experience creating document charters, project plans, etc.
Having directly managed or been responsible for a budget of $1M+
Technical experience/understanding is required
Experience in a large enterprise environment required
Experience working on a project with several direct stakeholders is required
Experience interacting with software vendors is a bonus
Ability to speak intelligently to a variety of cross-functional groups
Excellent communicational skills required (written and verbal)
Experience with PM tools such as MS Project requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
