As we grow, we will have opportunities as Golf Club Sales Professional/Golf Club Fitter.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Support the growth and profitability of Club Champion by providing the customer with an exceptional experience through superior customer service and maximize sales opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Partner with Store Manager to provide an exceptional experience by ensuring store appearance meets company guidelines.
o Ensure each customer receives exceptional service through maximize sales by finding the right products, providing creative solutions and removing barriers.
o Maintain a positive, customer-centric attitude by listening, understanding and responding to customer needs.
o Increase revenue and profitability while meeting deadlines and working in an organized manner in accordance with the company standards.
o Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals.
o Develop pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities.
o Communicate effectively and professionally with all associates and customers.
o Process information and merchandise via POS register system.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
o Golf retail sales and customer service experience.
o Club fitting and building experience (minimum 2 years)
o Knowledge of multiple equipment companies (shafts, club heads, and grip vendors)
o Experience building clubs (gripping, re-shafting, weighting, grinding, etc)
o Point-of-Sales system experience.
o Familiarity with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Working knowledge with launch monitors and putting analyzers.
o Store merchandising experience a plus.
WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling; ability to lift and/or move up to 50 to 100 pounds at any given time.
