My name is Steve and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Riverwoods, IL. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:
This role will provide day to day financial support specifically focused on the Procure 2 Pay (P2P) processes (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice approval and processing workflow, wire transfers, etc.), month end close activities, accrual determinations, project time tracking activities (i.e. validation of monthly time reporting system to ensure clear of errors that prohibit reporting), and assisting GPO team members with financial analysis in the area of software/fixed assets and allocation's for technology charges.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit to SAP journal entries, including accruals for month & yearend close activities
Facilitate completion of Purchase Requisitions in alignment with budget, verify correct cost centers and material numbers to align with proper accounts
Facilitate invoice approval and A/P submission process to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
Track invoice received, approved and posted to the ledger against PO's and ensure open items through current month are accrued for
Report on low PO balance items to ensure additional funds added, as necessary, in timely manner, to prevent delay of invoice payments
Utilize WK P2P workflow processes & procedures to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
