Summary:
This position specializes in managing the information flow for the organization, including the integrity, efficiency, and availability of data, and will play an important role in the company data governance program and related initiatives, policies, processes and reporting.
The Business Analyst, Data Governance will assist in documenting data-related requirements as well as recommending and implementing data governance and management tools, processes, and solutions to enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities:
Data Governance Process Management Plan and coordinate Data Governance Council meetings Coordinate communications, meetings, and other activities to support data governance organization Partner with cross-functional teams (across IT and business) to implement data governance practices Measure data governance performance with defined KPIs and metrics Monitor performance and identify data governance issues Track, manage, and facilitate resolution of data governance related issues to DGC Partner with business and IT stewards on root cause analysis and issue resolution Administer, maintain, and grow data governance toolkit Promote the adoption of on-going data governance with key business partners Provide training and development to CF Industries personnel as required Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand business goals and operations, respective data requirements, usage, and data governance-related challenges Develop and implement data standards, guaranteeing that metadata is captured correctly, and create methods for monitoring and reporting any data incidents Create and maintain common data dictionaries and the tools or methods that support data standards Analyze and oversee strategies designed to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies, and work with information technology personnel to develop data quality standards Internal Controls Ensure data governance processes and procedures meets compliance requirements Work with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed.
Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary.
Data Governance Strategy Support recommendations of data governance / data management practices, tools, and techniques based on understanding of business operations, goals, and data governance / management best practices Participate in development of new methodologies, frameworks, and concepts to support on-going data governance Other Responsibilities Provides assistance to Management throughout CF Industries on various projects, as required Represents the Company at various industry conferences and functions Other duties as assigned Preferred Skills, Degree(s), Certification(s) and/or Licenses:
Preferred BS/BA degree majors in accounting, finance, business, computer science, mathematics or related field MBA or CPA designation preferred 3 to 5 years applicable work experience with solid foundational knowledge of data governance, accounting/finance and/or operational processes Proven experience leading implementation of best practices around data governance and data management Understanding of data governance processes around quality, ownership, standardization, and definition Have worked with at least one Enterprise Application (ERP) System or similar (Ex:
SAP, Oracle Financials, etc).
Experience in leading business process analysis / optimization / redesign Excellent organization, documentation, and follow-up skills with a demonstrated problem-solving capability Demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments and communicate effectively (written and verbal) with technical, non-technical, and leadership Experience with one or more of the following:
data lifecycle management, master data management, data cleansing processes, data governance compliance and controls (i.
e.
data security, SOX, etc.
) Knowledge of IT-related disciplines and processes (i.
e.
Development Lifecycle) with the demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between the business and technical teams Relevant technical skills or knowledge would include database modeling principles, SQL, Security Master, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical skills in order to examine infrastructures and make recommendations on improvements and proven ability to break down and solve complex problems Strong communication skills in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders, and strong project management skills in order to manage daily operations or oversee information technology personnel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
